ABOUT PUSHPALAXMI ROSE NURSERY

Started in 1980 by Mr Madhukar Kavade Pushpalaxmi Rose Nursery is one of the oldest nurseries in India. We operate at Manjri farm on Pune- Solapur Road and at Naigaon where it spreads over 10 acres of land. Out of his sheer love and passion for roses Mr Madhukar Kavade started on a very small scale by planting Gladiator mother plants and selling the flowers at the Pune and Mumbai market. Overwhelmed by the response he then started the production of rose saplings by the grafting technique and did it for over 100 varieties of roses. He actively took part in the semi-annual rose exhibition at the Rose Society of Pune, Empress Garden, Agriculture College and won over 200 awards for his flowers and displays. He has also served the Rose Society of Pune as the Vice President and President and was recently felicitated for his contribution by former Union Agriculture Minister Hon.Shri.Sharadrao Pawar.

Mr Laxmikant Kavade, son of Mr Madhukar Kavade has used his technical expertise and business acumen in expanding our business and providing excellent service to our customers based across India.
